The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Transport Safety has written to the Minister in response to the Government’s Road Safety Strategy. The letter welcomes the ambition of the Strategy, including its focus on prevention, improved coordination, and new mechanisms such as a Road Safety Investigation Branch. It also highlights the importance of supporting delivery at a local level and sets out areas where further detail and engagement will be needed. The APPG stands ready to support the Government in strengthening and implementing the Strategy.
